Tato verze vzhledem k licenci Corporation nevyžaduje aktivaci a projdete bez problémů testem pravosti, takže vám nic nebrání využívat veškerých služeb a aktualizací, které jsou dostupné pro běžné legální uživatelé. Dále má již integrovaný Service Pack 2(bez použití jakýchkoliv utilit či programů třetích stran), čímž se vyvarujete poměrně častým problémům, které nastávají při a po aktualizování tímto balíčkem do již nainstalovaných Windows XP.
Vytváření bootovacího CD:
Stažené archivy uložte na jedno místo. Pomocí WinRaru dejte "Extrahovat zde" a následně budete dotázáni na heslo, které je výše uvedeno. Po rozbalení vám vznikne složka s názvem "viksp" ve které naleznete sobory VRMPVOL_CS.iso (obraz disku). Soubor VRMPVOL_CS.iso, aniž byste měnili jakkoliv jeho obsah či název, vypalte pomocí Alcohol 120% (nejlepší způsob vypalování je RAW DAO).
Na disku ve složce SN a souboru serial.txt naleznete seriový klíč, který je potřebný k instalaci. Klíč ze zkušeností doporučuju vitisknout(aby nedošlo k případné chybě při opisu).
Nyní vám už jen zbývá vytvořit zálohu souborů na vašem HDD (o které byste neradi přišli), nastavit v BIOSu pořadí detekce systému na "CD/DVD" mechaniku a začít instalaci restartem a spuštěním systému z CD.
Silně doporučuji provést instalaci na čistý naformátovaný disk (a nepřeinstalovávat Windows nejistého původu či stability)!
Poznámky:
- Pokud chcete systém instalovat na disk na radiči Serial ATA, je ve většině případů nutné hned na začátku instalace stisknout klávesu F6 a vložit disketu s ovladači řadiče. V řadě případů je nutné mít aktuální ovladače a například u čipu VIA VT8237 je vhodné mít i nejnovější verzi SATA BIOSu. V opačném případě se můžete setkat s řadou problémů , protože první verze mají často spoustu chyb.
- Toto CD je dlouhodobě na několika PC otestované, takže pokud vám něco nepůjde, problém bude zřejmě na vaší straně
